Waterloo Regional Police are actively investigating a single motor vehicle collision incident in Kitchener, prompting significant road closures.

At approximately 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, authorities announced the closure of the intersection at Bridge Street West and Lancaster Street West. This closure is essential for conducting a thorough collision investigation.

Two individuals involved in the incident have been transported to the hospital with injuries reported as non-life-threatening.

In support of the investigation, Traffic Services will be deploying an RPV (Remotely Piloted Vehicle) in the area. The RPV will aid in collecting crucial evidence necessary for the ongoing investigation.

The affected roads are anticipated to remain closed until approximately 6:00 p.m. Drivers are strongly advised to seek alternate routes and avoid the affected area to minimize disruptions and ensure safety.
