The Kitchener Rangers delivered an early Christmas gift to their fans on Saturday night, defeating the Ottawa 67’s 6-3 at the Aud.
Rookie Haeden Ellis shined with a breakout performance, earning first-star honors after scoring his first OHL goal and achieving the first multi-point game of his career. Teammate Jack Labrash also recorded the first multi-point game of his OHL journey, while goaltender Jackson Parsons secured his 19th win of the season.
The victory propels the Rangers into the holiday break with a stellar 23-7-2-1 record. They hold second place in the Midwest Division, third in the Western Conference, and third overall in the OHL standings.
The Rangers will enjoy a well-earned week off before returning to action on Dec. 29 against the Sudbury Wolves, followed by a Dec. 31 matchup against the North Bay Battalion.
