Suspect arrested after police respond to break-and-enter in progress

Police apprehended a man after replying to a break-and-enter underway in Waterloo.

On Feb. 11, at 4 a.m., police reacted to the break-and-enter on Lester Road.

Police officers observed a suspect getting away the location on a bicycle as well as detained them after a brief foot quest.

A 38-year-old Kitchener man was apprehended as well as charged with two matters of break and also enter, and possession of stolen residential property under $5,000.

The man was held for a bail hearing.
