A group of individuals involved in a smash-and-grab robbery at a Stratford jewellery store have been apprehended and arrested in Kitchener.
The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Paris Jewellers, located in the Stratford Mall on Ontario Street. According to Stratford Police, five suspects entered the store, stole items, and caused minor injuries to an employee during the robbery.
The suspects fled the scene in a white Honda CRV, which was later seen heading east out of Stratford. Authorities issued a ‘be on the lookout’ (BOLO) alert to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Waterloo Regional Police, leading to the eventual arrest of the suspects in Kitchener.
