Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Body Found at Toronto Waste Management Facility

 

Waterloo Regional Police Service has taken over the investigation into a body discovered at a waste management facility in Toronto.

On March 1, authorities found the body of a male at the garbage and recycling facility located at 260 New Toronto St. in Etobicoke, Ont. The Toronto Police Service’s Homicide and Missing Person Unit responded to the scene around 8:30 a.m.

According to reports, it is suspected that the deceased was transported to the facility via a waste management truck.

“Police are currently endeavoring to identify the individual and trace the origins of the truck, which may have originated from outside of Toronto,” stated a spokesperson on Sunday.
